Lesson Plans The following lesson plans have been developed to provide relevant engaging and practical expericences in learning about the Federal Republic of Nepal.
Lesson 1 - Natural Disasters For this lesson, students will be focussing on Floods, as they are a prominent disaster in Nepal Lesson 2 - Geography Students will be given a scenario and will use specific resources to complete the activity Lesson 3 - People and Events Design and present a multi media recount of an event chosen from the history of Mt. Everest. Lesson 4 - Mt Everest Investigate significant people and events in the recent history of the Himalayas Lesson 5 - History Using a children's story to help begin constructing a historical view of the country. Lesson 6 - Religion A 2hr lesson exploring and comparing the religions of the world with those that are practicied in Nepal.
